Nevermore
Acrylic 36″ x 24″
A friend of mine, who lived out in the country, invited a number of mutual friends and some I had yet to make for an Easter repast, which was followed by a much needed long and leisurely walk along the backroads and wooded trails near her home. I was in a peaceful mood that afternoon, despite the added load of the raven who landed on my shoulder (joke) and thus the name of this painting chose itself.
