The assumption, as we all know, is that when It began, there was Adam, and there was Eve.

Also present were a snake and an apple. One reason (out of many) for being creative is that an artist can change things around according to whim. Perhaps Eve decided Adam was a surly dolt and wanted instead to hang out with Addie, who didn’t need to be fed and who had a delightful, playful nature, much more entertaining in those early days before TV and the Internet.
